Cupping
Much like fire cupping, pressure cupping works by creating a vacuum in glass or plastic cups and creating a suction effect on the skin and muscles. These cups can be left stationary on the body or can be moved over the skin’s surface.
Pressure Cupping feels a lot like a strong deep tissue massage, and despite the temporary marks it leaves on the skin, is completely painless. The suction can penetrate up to four inches deep, that’s why cupping is one of the most popular ways to relax and refresh those tired muscles and aching bodies.
Our Physiotherapists provide Fire Cupping, Dry Cupping and Hijama. Hijama, also known as cupping therapy, is a method in which your blood is drawn towards the skin through the vacuum. The therapist puts cups having vacuum pressure inside them over your skin, and it draws blood towards the surface, removing toxins and impurities from nearby tissues.
