Medwest Health Care was established as a means to provide leading allied health services to private patients and residents of aged care facilities around Victoria.
Our comprehensive knowledge enables us to deliver exceptional health care services and even improve the funding of aged care facilities through the services we provide.
We provide fully licensed Physiotherapy and Podiatry services to those suffering from an array of ailments, regardless of age, gender, sex or location. Whether it be from our Keilor East Clinic or throughout regional Victoria, we make sure we are ready to help at any given time.

Director

Emma’s nickname has always been Airy-Fairy, she is the one that dreams big and turns them into reality, who’s moto is “thoughts Become Reality” and “Like attracts Like”. Emma’s the one that wants everone to leave happier than when they arrived.
You can find Emma writing wish lists and fluttering around the clinic sprinkling magic dust everywhere she goes!
The offspring of the fairy, One that grumbles and One that giggles and One that barks.

Khaled

Physiotherapist - With 27+yrs experience
Khal has worked for Medwest since it’s humble beginnings and has over 27yrs of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sport injuries. You will often see him treating patients in our clinic of helping out at one of our many facilities.
Khaled holds two Bachelor Degrees, a post graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and sports injuries, as well as a Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
He is also able to speak in Arabic, Jewish, Russian and French.

Samantha

Physiotherapist

Samantha Teo recently completed her PhD and her main research area is Osteoarthritis, she also completed her Master of Health Sciences majoring in Gerontology. She has substantial experience in the treatment of musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiopulmonary conditions. She has a keen interest in managing chronic health conditions, falls prevention, sport injuries, pelvic girdle pain, and injuries sustained from workplace (WorkCover) or transport accidents (TAC).
She often utilitises a hands-on approach with rehabilitation exercises to help individuals manage their conditions/injuries and return to normal function. Samantha can also assist with desk ergonomics and manual handling techniques. During her spare time, she enjoys Pilates, running, and travelling. Samantha can consult in English, Mandarin and Malay.

Ness

Dietitian

Ness is a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia. She has a Masters Degree in Dietic Practice from La Trobe University. As a dietitan, she helps individuals improve their nutrician to manage and prevent chronic diseases like diabetes.
She has a particular interest in paediatrics and women’s health and is passionate about helping individuals living in the community lead healthier lives. If you need advice on eating well dyring different life stages, managing food allergies and digestive issues, or keeping fit and healthy then come see Ness!

Tristan Bate

Podiatrist

Tristan has been with Medwest for well over 3 years and has a broad and expansive knowledge in the field of Podiatry. Tristan recommends that if you’re an active person who runs its best to get shoes professionally fitted.

His areas of expertise include skin and nail disorders, lower limb and feet conditions, and “high risk” problems including diabetic and pressure ulcers.

Ange

Office Manager

Ange is your first point of contact here at Medwest, she has been with us for a year now, and our clients have taken to her like family! She has over 10 years in Office Administration, Business Management, and a mixed background in retail and hospitality.
She comes with a happy, bubbly personality, and a positive spin on anything and everything. She is a die hard Backstreet Boys fan, and a MAN. U. supporter unlike her colleague ————————————> ..but it makes for interesting workplace conversation!
Ange LOVES her coffee and spending time with her hubby and their son, doing what ever random thing comes up, but it usually involves BBQ and friends.

Kenny

Accounts Manager

A newbie at Medwest, beginning his career as an external auditor with KPMG, Kenny has more than 25 years experience in Financial and Management accounting, He has a strong background in value creation through reporting and financial analysis. Kenny is a member of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA).
Kenny love his sports, none more than football (the round ball game). He is a die hard fan of the Arsenal FC at the English Premier League. Kenny can be a thrill seeker, from jumping off a plane or just having a quiet night in, watching movies.

Sacha

Beautician

Sacha, our resident Beautician, has been in the beauty & hair industry for 15 years. She loves making people feel beautiful about themselves on the outside as much as they do on the inside. Sacha’s specialties include H.I.F.U., Electro Muscle Stimulation and Cryolipolysis FatFreezing!
In Sacha’s spare time, she loves to keep active and plays Footy and Watersports, she spends her weekends with her 2 sons always seeking adventure, whether that’s camping or chilling out and watching movies on the couch.

Annemaree

Cosmetic Nurse

Annemaree is our resident Cosmetic Nurse Injector with over 30 years experience as a Div1 Registered Nurse and Midwife.
Annemaree has a strong desire to help clients feel better and happy within themselves, by achieving fresh and natural looking results through injectables.
She understands the importance of keeping her knowledge and practice up to date in the ever-changing cosmetic industry, by regularly attending training events and aesthetic medical conferences. Annemarees focus on each clients’ needs is apparent in the personalized service treatment planning and care she provides.

Maria Guzzardi

Spiritual Healer & Reiki Master

Maria is our resident spiritual healer, incorporating Intuitive Ear Candling, Flame Reading, Reiki and Body Candling into her practice. She takes pride in offering her services to help people experience a greater level of positivity and well-being.

With the ability to help treat sinus and congestion issues, improve life force energy, address bloating, fluid retention, puffiness, headaches and migraines, you can rest assured you are in very capable hands with Maria.

Dani

Beautician

Dani is a Beautitian with valuable industry knowledge and beauty training with international makeup trainer Donna Mee. Through her education, Dani has helped many clients overcome skin conditions such as acne and oily or dry skin.
Among running makeup lessons, Dani is also a holistic Reiki Practitioner so be sure to book in and recieve a complimentary Reiki session with your facial or come and experience a mini relaxing healing session with her.

Women’s health physiotherapy helps treat women’s health issues such as incontinence, pelvic/ vaginal pain, prenatal and postpartum musculoskeletal pain, osteoporosis, rehabilitation following breast surgery, lymphedema, education prevention, wellness and exercise and so much more.

Women’s health physiotherapists can tailor an exercise plan to help you improve a variety of symptoms caused by women’s health concerns. For example, bone density naturally decreases during menopause. So, a physiotherapist can help you strengthen your bones and improve your bone health through exercise.

Additionally, strengthening your pelvic floor, especially during and after pregnancy, is a huge component of women’s health physiotherapy. Pregnancy and childbirth obviously put a lot of stress on your pelvic floor and it’s essential to strengthen this area as much as possible. It’ll not only help you during childbirth but also can help prevent incontinence, prolapse and other pelvic floor related issues.
