We place an emphasis on EPC care plans and DVA referrals in an attempt to reduce podiatry service’s’ costs for the facility. We are also more than happy to liaise with GP's regarding this.
We provide accurate and easy to read care plans to all residents seen. These are updated annually to fulfil all accreditation requirements and are kept in the provided podiatry folder that we'll supply.
Infection control is taken very seriously, with sterile instruments being used for individual residents.
At the end of each visit, the podiatrist provides a thorough verbal and written handover to the Unit Manager. Issues such as and not limited to wound care or footwear advice/instructions are discussed.
